EV charging projects rarely fail because of the technology — they fail for lack of control and lack of delivery capacity. STEER.E provides both: project management on a fixed monthly hour allowance, and established subcontractors for implementation.
The design is done or the project is already under way. We manage grid operators, trades, schedules and costs through to acceptance — on a fixed monthly hour allowance, with a report.
We build your site to scale in 3D, plan every metre of cable and build it with our partners through to acceptance.

A real photo, camera matched via control points, installations inserted from the 3D model. Spotted along the way: a parking sign hangs right in the wallbox mounting area.
Conduits, sewers and tanks from as-built plans, in the model. Here a DN 1400 storage sewer crosses the cable route with around 0.15 m clearance.
Cable laying in a subcontractor’s offer. Found because we check every quantity against the model.
Model versus plan over 93 m of cable route. We order from the model, not from estimates.
Rails, tap-off boxes, wallboxes and wall openings as individual objects, each with its bill-of-quantities item. That is where the installation plan and bill of materials come from.
From site plan, photos and site survey. To scale, with underground services.
Plan as PDF and DXF, bill of materials with quantities per bill-of-quantities item.
With prerequisites. The biggest risk is tackled on day one of construction.
Many companies have EV charging projects but no project manager — and not enough work for a full-time post. That is exactly what our retainer model is for: a fixed hour allowance per month, one dedicated contact, a predictable budget.
What sets this apart from classic consulting: you can see at any time what every hour was spent on. At month end you get the report — not a rough estimate, but accurate to the hour, straight from our project system.
Bookable individually, strongest together: control, implementation and the fast track from site survey to offer.
Your project manager on a monthly allowance — from feasibility and trade coordination through to handover.
The bottleneck is rarely the plan — it is execution. We bring established subcontractors for civil works and electrical installation, and manage them through our platform.
Digitally recorded site surveys become reliable offers without media breaks — on a verified price basis, in days rather than weeks.
Every task has a number, every status can be retrieved — one continuous chain from the first appointment to billing.
Structured on-site recording: grid connection, parking spaces, cable routes — captured digitally, with photos and mandatory checkpoints.
The site survey flows straight into the calculation without media breaks — checked, traceable, fast.
Coordination of grid operator, civil works and electrical installation — with our own subcontractors where capacity is lacking.
Monthly report and activity report accurate to the hour — you always know where your project and your budget stand.
We are not a newly founded consultancy. We are a project team that has been building EV charging infrastructure since 2019 — and in that time has seen pretty much everything that can go wrong in such projects.
We have planned and delivered AC and DC infrastructure for large parking operators and resellers, worked our way through countless rounds with distribution grid operators, and learned where projects get stuck in practice: on connection capacity, on responsibilities, on deadlines nobody tracks.
We now offer this experience to the market as STEER.E — as a project management team you can book.
One summer, one route across Europe: Italy, Austria, Slovakia, Germany. Charging works wherever infrastructure has been built — and that is exactly the point. We know charging infrastructure not only from plans and applications, but from hands-on experience at the plug.

The questions that come up in almost every first conversation — answered here in advance.
It depends on the power path: where is the grid connection, how far is it to the parking space, is the connection capacity sufficient? After a site survey we give you a reliable quantity schedule with prices — before that, any figure would be a guess. The site survey itself is the cheapest part of the whole project.
You book project management on subscription instead of creating a post: a fixed monthly hour allowance, documented to the minute. We manage design, subcontractors, schedules and billing — you keep the decisions.
Yes. We work with established subcontractors for civil works and electrical installation and coordinate both trades from a single source — AC wallboxes as well as DC rapid chargers.
Yes — the federal programme “Laden im Mehrparteienhaus” (charging in multi-unit residential buildings, 2026) subsidises charge points, grid connection and load management. In the first conversation we check what is eligible for your property, and we prepare the application documents.
We are based in Ahrensburg near Hamburg; we have managed and delivered projects throughout Germany and elsewhere in Europe — from Münster to Verona.
After the site survey we document the power path from grid connection to charge point. From that, the offer is usually ready within a few working days — complete, with quantities instead of lump sums.
A short first conversation is enough to assess what is possible for your property — technically, in terms of timing and in terms of funding.
STEER.E is the e-mobility business line of Westphal Wavetec GmbH, Ahrensburg near Hamburg — at home in ultrasonic technology, welding, metalworking and hardware logistics since 1990. This manufacturing and project experience goes into every STEER.E project.
